How often does your child get to enjoy the great outdoors? How often does your child explore wooded areas, creeks, and ponds? “Nature play” experiences offer children opportunities to take safe risks, develop friendships, increase confidence, and increase awareness and exploration of their environments.
Nature provides a healthy environment for children to ask questions and creatively problem solve. The outdoors offers an array of naturally occurring sensory experiences that can’t be replicated indoors. These experiences allow your child to practice self-regulation, explore how their bodies move, and experience the outdoors in wonder.
